Title:- See More Fantastic Features In The Next Whatsapp Update

You’ll bear me witness that WhatsApp has tremendously helped in reducing the revenue for SMS as it has rapidly decreased for most service providers. You too ask yourself, when last did you send an SMS to someone?

Lots of improvement has been done on WhatsApp lately with reference to their last roll out of WhatsApp End-end-encryptionand ability to send PDF filesfrom one user to the other.
From what Phone radar and Android Police are reporting, these are what to expect from the next Whatsapp rollout. Though no particular date but …

>>WhatsApp for Windows and Mac OS: This was spotted on WAbeta info twitter handle but no word on it yet from Whatsapp; they should work the way WhatsApp for mobile and web work allowing for logins and synching across devices with a single number.

>>Call back features: the latest leak suggests Facebook to bring some more features to WhatsApp. The ‘Call Back‘ feature for iOS and Android devices shows the notification for a missed call with a call back button. The Call Back features help users to dial back without opening the Whatsapp.

>>Voice Mail features for iOS: The ‘Record Voice Mail‘ and ‘Send Voice Mail‘ buttons help to record and send a voice mail during the voice call.

>>Zip File Sharing: We should be expecting this feature in the next update of WhatsApp. It will allow you to compress the actual file and indirectly helps in decreasing the data usage.

Though I’ve been waiting for the video calling features but I don’t know when it will come into existence yet…
Whatsapp has proven to be one of the best messaging app.
Which of these yet to come features do you want to see on your WhatsApp?

Best Smartphones To Watch Out For In 2016

2015 is almost over and we are drawing nearer to 2016 so I feel it is right about now that I start giving you lists of phones that will launch in 2016, the features and specs of 2016 smartphones and the company that will launch them.
From what we have seen so far in 2015, it is obvious that one thing the whole phones have in common is getting smart, faster, thinner, stronger, sleeker etc, a colleague once joked that soon, we will have ATM sized smartphone.

Well,…. Enough of that, let me present what I have for you on this post.

1. Apple iPhone 7.

I know that many of you will scream wayo(partiality) if I failed to begin with Apple iphone 7 simply because it is both the king in hardware and software.

Judging by apple’s historical yearly debut schedule, the iPhone 7 will likely be announced by September. To far right? Well, it is still 2016.

The phone is rumored to launch without a home button and a headphone jack. Also, it is expected to sport what could be Apple’s next A10 chipset along with, of course, a new design, a better and possibly a new type of display, and complete waterproof protection and hopefully, a longer battery life.

2. Samsung Galaxy S7.

Usual and expected, Samsung is and has always been Apple’s closest rival.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will be unveiled in February 2016. Rumor has is that Samsung will give it the edgiest design yet in smartphones.

The Galaxy S7 is rumored to have edged screens on all sides — left, right, up and down. My friend said that S7 will be like the product of Samsung and Apple’s one night stand. This is because Samsung is going to incorporate a touch sensitive 3D Touch-like feature in its next flagship. Let’s hope they don’t get sued again.

3. LG G5

LG is definitely going to surprise people with LG G5. They have good record spearheading the specs race in smartphones. Check out all the LG’s G lineup and you will see that they have long featured some of the best screens in the market.

So it is expected that the record continues in 2016. The rumors circulating in Tech news sites is that LG is rumored to have one of the first 4K equipped screens on a smartphone with its LG G5. In addition, the G5 is said to have an iris scanner when it’s finally released by the end of spring next year. So watch out.

4. Sony Xperia Z6

Sony had it rough in past years but that didn’t deter them. The company is expected to launch the Xperia Z6 with the build on this year’s Z5 Premium’s 4K screen with all the usual goodies like waterproofing, all-day battery, and others. The key feature to watch out for is the camera. Sony manufactures the cameras in today’s high-end devices including the iPhone, and the Xperia Z6’s camera should be an industry leader when we finally see it by September.

5. HTC One M10

HTC have also had it bad in the last few months so I am praying and hoping that they get back on track and do something unique instead of living in another smartphone’s shoes like the iPhone-clone A9.

HTC 2016 “One M10” is expected at the same time as the Galaxy S7 with an improved HTC’s Sense.

HTC’s sense has always been one of the Taiwanese company’s strengths and honestly If they can balance its OS with a more vanilla version of Android and create a truly unique, compelling design then believe you me that the company’s next smartphone could really be an “iPhone killer.” after all, Apple first copied from them.

6. Acer Predator 6

Acer Predator 6 is a flagship smartphone that is aimed at gamers. The Acer Predator 6 features a bright 6-inch screen and deca-core MediaTek processor. That is too much power.

There is 4GB of RAM in order to play console-style games when on the move.

Acer Predator features a 21MP camera on the rear, four speakers and haptic feedback when held in portrait mode to help simulate joypad controls on the touchscreen.

7. BlackBerry Vienna.

Oh yes! Blackberry is already working on Priv successor. The phone appeared recently, codenamed Vienna.

There’s little information on the Vienna so far, but it appears to be a candybar device, offering a fixed physical keyboard under the large display and will launch in February 2016.

8. Microsoft Surface Phone.

This device will likely bring the end of the Lumia line in 2016. The rumor has been around for long but it seems Microsoft will finally introduce its Surface line of phones in coming year.

This move by Microsoft is to make their smart phones align with the company’s other products such as the original Surface and Surface Book. Beyond the usual smartphone fare of upgraded specs, we’re hoping to see something only Microsoft can do on a smartphone as they’ve already done with their other Surface products.

9. Google Project Ara.

This project has been in the work for a while, is a gesture that will, instead of buying a completely brand new phone every year or so, Google’s Project Ara in 2016 may have us just buying separate components instead. In short, we’d be able to build our own smartphones as we please, upgrading the camera at one point and then maybe the display or processor sometime later, without having to replace the entire phone completely. In and out of the news for the past years. In 2016, we’re hoping to actually see something of it.

10. Apple iPhone 6C.

There has been rumors of an updated iPhone for some time now. The rumor was intensified by the discontinuance of iphone 5C sales.

The rumours suggest that Apple wants to replace it with iPhone 6c that might launch in early 2016.

The phone is expected to launch with some features from the 6, like Apple Pay support, as well as bring back the colourful bodywork, perhaps in metal this time.

Some say that Apple will take some cues from the latest iPod because it has the template for the new affordable iPhone and that may well be right.

We shall find out with time

11. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact Premium.

There has been some speculation suggesting that Sony will also be releasing a Xperia Z5 Compact Premium in Japan.

The Xperia Z5 is rumoured to feature a 4.6-inch display with a Full HD resolution, which would already be a step up from the current Xperia Z5 Compact, and 4GB of RAM has also been suggested.

We are expecting a 23-megapixel rear snapper, 5-megapixel front snapper, 2900mAh battery and Snapdragon 810 processor.

A post on CNBeta suggests that the device would be available in October, but provided no details on pricing.

And that’s all for now.

Next, I will show you the list of available and soon to be available smartphones that will rock the first quota of 2016 so stay tuned.

The convicts, were arraigned alongside their vessel and company on August 28, 2014 on five counts alongside one Padoun Jacob, who was discharged and acquitted by the court. The judge, in setting Jacob free on all the five counts, described him as a desperate job seeker, who became a victim of circumstances.

Cross River Govt suspend Permanent Secs. over suspension of morning devotion in schools

The Cross River State government has indefinitely suspended the Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry of Education Anne Odey, who last week released a statement suspending all forms of morning devotion in schools across the country.
The State Security Adviser (SSA) to Governor Ben Ayade, Jude Ngaji who made this known to newsmen yesterday in Calabar, explained that indeed the state police commissioner, Henry Fadairo, had contacted the state ministry of Education about a possible attack by Boko haram members during early morning and afternoon devotions in various schools.
Ngaji said the permanent secretary unilaterally took the decision of suspending the age long practice of morning devotions in the state, without consulting the state governor.
"The governor has directed that the permanent secretary be suspended indefinitely while the ban on suspension of devotion has been lifted immediately. It is true that police got intelligence information that Boko Haram is planning to bomb schools during morning devotions and therefore directed authorities in the Ministry of Education to act fast.

But the permanent secretary did not bother to refer to the governor or call for stakeholders’ meeting to that effect.

So, the governor feels pained that the permanent secretary got such sensitive information without seeking for his advice and went ahead to issue directive suspending morning devotions in schools," he said.

He added that the governor is a strong believer in God and will not do anything that will prevent people from worshiping God.

Four fake soldiers arrested

Four fake soldiers identified as John Izunwanne, 25, John Otu, 23, Richard Acha, 22, and Simon Anthony, 39, who were arrested at various times along Mile 2 road, Idi-Araba and Agege area in Lagos state, were paraded by the state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni at the force headquarters in Ikeja on October 29th.
When interrogated, one of the suspects, 39 year old Simon Anthony, said he decided to wear the military uniform to secure free transportation from his base in Adamawa to Lagos state
“I was dismissed in January 2014 for falling out from duty. I am from Adamawa state. I wanted to use the uniform to travel to Lagos because I had no transport money. But unfortunately, I was arrested by soldiers,” he told the Nation.
Also one of the arrested fake soldiers, John Izunwanne said he wore the uniform because he wanted to secure free transportation.
“I wanted to go and sign my army recruitment form at Ojo Barracks when I bought the uniform at the Mammy Market. However, on October 7, my friend had a court case and I was to appear in court as a witness. The court was in Agege and I did not have the transport fare to go, so, I decided to wear my uniform to save me the cost of transportation.”
One of the arrested fake soldiers Otu who is a member of the Citizen for Peace and First Aid Missions in Nigeria, said he heard his friends were arrested and went to the police to secure their bail, only to be arrested for wearing the uniform.

Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano has called on the federal government to save the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway from caving into gully erosion that has affected parts of the newly constructed flyover along New Parts market, Nkpor, Idemili North council area.
The Governor made the call, yesterday, October 29, while inspecting the havoc being wreaked by the erosion on the road.
He disclosed that he has contacted the President after inspecting the site recently, mandated IDC construction firm to mobilize to site and start palliative work, to save the road.
He stated that the federal government owes the state an outstanding twenty-five billion naira spent on the reconstruction of federal roads in the state, a reason why it must get permission from the federal government before embarking on palliative work on the site.
The Governor made it clear that the state alone cannot undertake the erosion project which will run into billions of naira, and advised the citizenry to bear with the state while it pressurizes the federal government to come to its aid.

Father of 11 claims £27k a year benefits refuses to work, says he is obeying God's first command to 'go forth and multiply'

A father of 11 who claims up to £27,000 a year in benefits says he does not believe in contraception - and admits the government pay for the upkeep of his children. Mohammed Salim and his wife Noreen claim up to £27,000 per year in handouts from the government and alarmingly hasn't worked for the past 10 years.
Their family of 13 live in a 4-bedroom house in Manchester & often travel by minibus. Mohammed, who is appearing on a new TV programme, said on the show that he has no regrets about fathering 11 children, even though “it is the government who pay for their upkeep, food and clothing”.
“Having 11 children I don’t think is irresponsible, we don’t believe in contraception, we are following God’s first command, he said ‘go forth and multiply’,”
Mohammed said it isn’t his fault that he has spent 10 years on the dole and the system is failing him, adding:
“I have got qualifications and real work experience. I’ve been forced on to the dole because I’m unemployed. I am expected to do at least seven job applications a week. I’m better off on the dole than working on a minimum wage.”  he told Channel 5’s On Benefits: 26 Kids And Claiming, a documentary about large families on benefits.
Mohammed has applied to work as an ICT teacher in Saudi Arabia because he can’t find a job in the UK.
He said: “It’s a sad state of affairs. For the last ten years I’ve failed to get any jobs or interviews. I am not getting the results.”
“I have been told to do taxi work but with the hours I would have to put in to get a reasonable wage, I can’t do it, especially with young children.”
Mohammed, who spends up to £300 per week on food for his family, said he would struggle if his welfare bill was capped at £500 a week as the government are currently proposing and he also forks out on modern gadgets for his children who want iPhones.
He said: “We are feeding 13 people. £500 a week is not enough, the costs are there, we are having to stretch and stretch. They want that because it is the thing of the present day and you have to cough up,” he said.
He added that with 11 children, there are so many birthdays and religious festivals to remember and celebrate.
“Virtually every month there is something going on, if it is not a birthday it is some kind of celebration, Christmas, Easter, Eid,” he said. “It is a big pull on the little amount of benefits that we do get.”
Mohammed,a religious man believes that there are more important things than money.
“I am the richest man in the world with these children,” he said. “I have a big family, I am on benefits, there is a worry there but god always sees us through

Man jailed for forwarding text message containing a joke about President Mugabe to neighbours

A 38-year-old Zimbabwean man named Titus Maposa has been jailed for forwarding a joke on Mugabe to all his neighbours. According to Manica Post newspaper, Maposa's neighbours sent the text message to the police and he was arrested.
The offending joke was a message falsely attributed to Ecocash, Zimbabwe's mobile money transfer scheme, which said the president had deposited $1 500 (R20 745) into their account.
"Ecocash Transfer Confirmation: 1,500 US from Robert Gabriel Mugabe. Thank you for supporting ZANU-PF."
Maposa was being charged under a section of Zimbabwe's Postal and Telecommunications Act prohibiting the sending of messages the sender "knows to be false."
The report said Maposa insisted he did not mean to make his neighbours "anxious or nervous".
"I was intending to share a social media joke," he said.
Although Maposa was not being prosecuted under Zimbabwe's infamous anti-insult laws, it remains a crime to insult Mugabe, who has been in power since 1980. Arrests are frequently reported under these laws, often for comments made on social media site.

Custom officer and wife arrested for buying twin newborn babies for N500,000

An officer of the Nigeria Customs Service simply identified as Azeez and his wife have been arrested by the Ogun State Police for allegedly buying a set of 4 day-old twin babies for N500,000 in the Sango Ota, Ogun state.
According to Punch Metro the couple were arrested by the Sango Police Division last Thursday and the babies have since been recovered from them and the couple  have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.

A police source said:

“The incident happened last Thursday. The police got a tip-off that the couple had gone to Ibadan, Oyo State, to buy twin babies for N500,000. We then moved in on them and discovered it was true.

The twins were just four days old on the day of the arrest. We have not seen the parents yet.

Azeez said in his statement that he and his wife already had a child together but they had tried to have a second child for 23 years and so they decided to purchase the twins. The suspect told the police that he paid N500, 000 for the babies.

The babies were with the police until Friday, when they were transferred to Abeokuta.

The suspects were taken to the anti-kidnapping section of the SCID. The parents of the babies haven't shown up to claim them but the police said the babies are doing very fine.

The Ogun State Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the arrest. He added that investigations were still ongoing.
He said:

“The arrest is true. The case has been transferred to the SCID, and it is being handled by the Anti-human trafficking department. The suspects are still undergoing investigation. During our investigations, we will get across to the parents and find out the circumstances that led to the disappearance of their babies.

We will also get across to the NCS authorities to show the level of complicity of their officer. I cannot disclose the suspect’s name, because we are still investigating. He was arrested with the wife.
